Development strategy for sustainable pharmaceutical production aimed at minimizing technogenic impact on the environment and preserving natural resources.

The main principles of sustainable pharmaceutical production: prevention of waste generation, use of renewable raw materials, creation of safe pharmaceutical products, application of cyclic technology of production and waste processing, efficient use of water, energy and natural resources.

Purpose

Formation of skills of planning and management professional activity of pharmaceutical technologist in the field of  development of sustainable and environmentally safe pharmaceutical production.

Results of training:

  • Implements a strategy for the - implements the strategy of integrated use of raw materials in pharmaceutical production;
  • Selects methods and ways of effective utilization of raw materials and wastes of pharmaceutical production;
  • Uses the basic principles of development of waste-free technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Selects methods of technical and economic analysis for effective production management;
  • Analyzes the pharmaceutical market of different levels and builds a management strategy on its basis;
  • Uses modeling in the development of economically beneficial and environmentally safe pharmaceutical production technologies;
  • Optimizes technological control of pharmaceutical production processes and equipment.
